Let me introduce you to Iggy.

When I played Animal Crossing (Gamecube), Iggy became my arch nemesis… although he didn’t know that, he thought we were boyfriend and girlfriend for the longest time. He stalked me. It was funny, at first, sure. He was the first neighbor I ever met when I bought the game, and every time I turned around, he was right behind me. If I went to Nook’s shop, he’d be strolling outside when I came out. If I went home, he’d be outside my door, as close as he could get. There were a few times when he sent me unprovoked letters, which I didn’t know the animals were programmed to do.

I got so freaked out by him that I reset my village. He was there again. I reset it. There he was. I reset it twenty seven times, and each time, he was always in the town somewhere, without fail.

I was elated when he didn’t show up in later games. I now play City Folk in peace.

That’s horrifying.
